Apex FoodSource owns and operates a corrugated container distribution centre, associated with our food manufacturing enterprise. This facility is centrally located in Langley, British Columbia, part of the Greater Vancouver Area, at the intersection of two, major arterial routes, only one-mile directly south of a principal exit of the Trans-Canada Highway. It serves as both a custom packaging centre and warehouse for distribution of corrugated containers for both clients of Apex FoodSource, and regional fruit and vegetable producers, among others.
The modern, high-capacity operation features a self-levelling dock for semi-trailers and computerized inventory management, directly interfaced to maximize operational integrity and efficiency. The packaging and finishing processes are facilitated by means of an automated, conveyor linked shrink wrap system and automatic film application system for pallets.
